It takes a village to win Designer of the Year! Who would’ve thought?
We’ve been selected as the People’s Pick for HGTV’s Designer of the Year! I’m so humbled by the sheer number of votes and support. We truly couldn’t have done this alone. From those of you who voted (and voted and voted again!) to our incredibly hardworking team, there were so many moving parts that came together for this win.
The design that won the award for the “Waterside Retreats” category was Eternity Villa, a renovation project that underwent some serious TLC after being devasted by two hurricanes. I’m so proud of my team who worked tirelessly to pull this renovation together. Mostly, I’m thrilled for them to have this acknowledgment of their hard work.
There were some pretty impressive projects featured in the contest this year from talented designers across the U.S. The competition was tough, and we truly are fortunate to have such a wide circle of support drawn around us. This design was a passion of mine, and I’m so happy for the chance to share this success with you.
